One Piecechapter 1152 marked the return of the manga and it went on to reveal a ton of exciting information to the fans. The Elbaf arc continues to heat up, and fans know that the big battles are just around the corner now.
Imu and the Holy Knights have made their move, which means that Luffy and his group need to prepare for big battles in the country. However, as things stand, Luffy doesn’t have the tools required to take down the Holy Knights and Imu. This is where thenew level of Conqueror’s Haki comes in, and Oda has now confirmed its existence.
Why Conqueror’s Haki Infusion Isn’t The Strongest Haki
When Oda first introducedthe concept of Conqueror’s Haki Infusionto the fans, many took it to mean that this was the final form of this Haki. However, the recent events ofOne Piececonfirm that to not be the case. Many fans started labeling this ability as “advanced Conqueror’s Haki.” However, that wouldn’t be accurate at all. Conqueror’s Haki Infusion is simply using this type of Haki to coat one’s body, just like they do with Armament Haki. There is nothing advanced about it. One only needs to know how to do it. Only a handful can pull it off, so in that sense, it isn’t easy to do, but its usage doesn’t imply advanced stages of Conqueror’s Haki mastery.
To never doubt, that’s true strength! — Rayleigh
Oda has confirmed on multiple occasions that there are levels to Haki. Not all Haki are the same. For example, Luffy and Kaido are users of Conqueror’s Haki Infusion, but that doesn’t mean they’re on the same level as Shanks. Similarly, Joy Boy is a level higher. Haki can be used in different ways, and that’s what matters.
Gaban Confirms A Higher Level Of Conqueror’s Haki Exists
Advanced Conqueror’s Haki Is Finally Introduced
While Conqueror’s Haki Infusion is incredibly powerful, it isn’t enough to take down the Holy Knights and Imu. Oda confirmed this in the Elbaf arc, where Gaban clearly stated that while immortal, they’re not invincible. They can be beaten, but only with a very high level of Conqueror’s Haki. Even Luffy, who is a Yonko, doesn’t have this level of Conqueror’s Haki yet.
Take it to heart when you use your Conqueror’s Haki! — Gaban
So far, only Gaban and Joy Boy have been shown to have this new level of Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, but it is only a matter of time before more characters use it.
Luffy, Zoro, And Sanji Must Use Advanced Conqueror’s Haki
The Straw Hats haveto beat the Holy Knightshere, and fans know that very well. But, given their Immortality requiring Conqueror’s Haki to counter, only Luffy and Zoro can stand a chance. Furthermore, neither of those two has the level of Conqueror’s Haki required to damage them. Zoro and Luffy must both train their Haki to be able to use the new level.
Furthermore, Sanji must awaken his Conqueror’s Haki as well, and then advance it to a level where he can make a big difference inthe battle against the Holy Knights.
