Ever since the beginning of the Elbaf arc ofOne Piece, Loki has been the center of attention, and that doesn’t come as a surprise to any fan.Loki is the prince of Elbaf, and most certainly a character that will, in his own way, define the future of the world. A lot is yet to be revealed about Loki, but fans know that he’s most certainly an incredibly powerful character. Yet, at the same time, he’s said to be cursed. It is believed that Loki is a criminal who has committed all sorts of atrocious crimes. From murder, to regicide, he’s done it all, if the people of Elbaf are to be believed. But, Oda continues to portray Loki in a positive light, because at the end of the day, he’s set to be Luffy’s ally and potentially even a Straw Hat. Oda has only added to all that by revealing Loki’s unique powers, and fans are absolutely astonished by it.
Loki’s Eyes Were Always Covered In One Piece
Since the beginning of the Elbaf arc, if there’s one question that fans had about Loki, it was concerning his eyes. Fans saw Loki with bandages on his eyes right from the get-go, which meant that Oda was hiding something special underneath. While some considered Loki to be blind, Oda made it very clear that he could actually see, and better than anyone else, which was confusing. In fact, Loki could even see and dodge effectively moves from Luffy in Gear 4, and more than that, he could see the trajectory of arrows drawn by Gunko. All this was accomplished by Loki without even having his eyes open, and this wasn’t merely the work of Observation Haki.

Now, inOne Piecechapter 1153, Oda has finally confirmed to the fans that Loki’s eyes are special, yet, at the same time, they are what ended up becoming the bane of his existence, as they portray him to be cursed.

InOne Piecechapter 1153,Loki’s birth was covered by Oda in great detail. It was clear to see that Loki had snake-like eyes. He was born to Queen Estrida, whom Harald was forced to marry by the Giant Elders. Estrida was deep into Di Feng, and was thus quite superstitious. It is because of her personality that Loki was blamed for her death, and later, the death of King Harald as well.

When Loki was born, he was seen with snake-like eyes, and these eyes were called cursed. Estrida ordered Loki be thrown into the Underworld, and it is here that he made the Underworld his dominion, despite being a newborn baby.
Loki’s Eyes Hold Incredible Power
Clearly, Loki was an anomaly from birth. In fact, he was even stronger thanthe likes of Big Momand Oden at birth, who were both born prodigious. Loki survived a fall to the Underworld, beat wild animals that could kill anyone, and then climbed the Adam Tree, and all that is linked to his eyes. Clearly, Loki’s eyes hold tremendous power, and they’re somehow linked to his monstrous strength. They most likely also boost his Observation Haki to the next level, and fans absolutely can’t wait to see more of how his eyes reveal his true power.
