Oda Revealed The Roles Of The Roger Pirates
The Roger Pirates are one of the most important crews in One Piece. Since they were involved in so many major events, they have been hounded by the World Government. In the SBS for One Piece Volume 112, Eiichiro Oda revealed the roles of eachand every member of the Roger Pirates. Fans can find the entire list below:
This information about the Roger Pirates shows that the crew didn’t accomplish so much with their strength alone. The crew had different people occupying various important positions. Given the fact that they recruited so many new people, it’s clear that they didn’t want to rush in headfirst without planning. The biggest surprise from the SBS was that the Roger Pirates did not have a cook but had a dedicated torturer.
Oda Confirms Scopper Gaban Is A Navigator
Scopper Gaban Was The Navigator Of The Roger Pirates
As previously stated, Scopper Gabanwas the navigator of the Roger Pirates. This information has resulted in brand-new debates within the One Piece community, and most of them are related to Sanji. Most people already knew that Sanji is Gaban’s parallel, which is why they expected the latter to have the cook’s role within the Roger Pirates. But now they have begun to think that Sanji isn’t going to be one of Luffy’s strongest assets. Thankfully, most of them are jests, and only a few people believe that Sanji won’t be equal to Gaban in the future.
Aside from the powerscaling debates, Gaban’s job as the navigator has led to fans asking questions about his skill level. It seems he is the person closest to Nami in terms of skill. Gaban knows how to reach Wano without any problems, indicating that he doesn’t require additional help. Under Gaban’s guidance, the Roger Pirates also navigated through the Grand Line not once but twice.
The Roger Pirates Remain The Strongest Crew In One Piece History
Even though the crew disbanded many years ago, the members are still feared and hounded by the World Government. The Roger Pirates learned the truth aboutthe Void Century, which put them on the top of the hit list. The Roger Pirates were able to achieve such incredible feats because of their strength.
In the last moment of his life, he turned his fading “flame of life” into a huge fire that enveloped the world. I’ve never laughed more than on that day…!! I’ve never cried more than on that day… I’ve never drank more either..!! He was our captain… and he was a magnificent man…!!! —Silvers Rayleigh
Gol D. Roger, the captain, was the strongest, and he was able to clash against the likes of Whitebeard, Shiki, Rocks, and Garp. He held his own against them, and he never lost a fight against them. It’s also worth mentioning that Roger was suffering from a terminal illness, yet he ended up becoming the strongest and most dangerous pirate of his era.
Gaban And Rayleigh Were As Strong As The Yonko
Silvers Rayleigh and Scopper Gaban were just below Roger in terms of both authority and strength. The two garnered an immense reputation, which made everyone fear them. Rayleigh’s reputation struck fear into Blackbeard’s heart, and it led to the Yonko running away from Amazon Lily.
Gaban has remained away from the eyes of the World Government, but he looks sharp as ever. Gaban has proven that hecan easily manhandle Holy Knights. It’s only natural that Rayleigh and Gaban’s power has dwindled due to old age, but in their prime, they would have been a match for the Yonko themselves. Keeping in mind the strength of Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban, it’s easy to see why the crew ended up conquering the Grand Line.
