Many important reveals have already been made in Loki’s flashback duringOne Piece’sElbaf arc. The one that fans are currently talking about the most has to do with the legendary Rocks D. Xebec, whose sudden appearance in the flashback has blown power scaling out of proportion. In just one chapter, Rocks has cemented himself as the most powerful pirate of the old generation.
However, with the look that fans got at Loki’s childhood, the biggest mystery regarding the Accursed Prince has been shown, which are his unique eyes. Throughout all ofOne Piece, Loki is the only character with eyes like this, which, paired with another reveal in Chapter 1154, could connect all the way back to themost destructive of the Ancient Weapons; Pluton. So, let’s take a look at what this possible connection could be.

Underneath Wano
With the very first showing of Loki’s impeccable design in Chapter 1130, fans began to speculate that his eyes would be incredibly important, as is usually the case with most who cover them inOne Piece. Eventually, during his flashback, we finally got a glimpse ofwhat his eyes truly look like, and they are deep black and serpentine in appearance. The most common theory was that they gave him some incredible Observation Haki.
While this could still be true, it’s possible that Loki’s eyes give him a connection to the legendary Pluton warship, which is the most destructive weapon in history. The very first connection to be made can be traced back to the Water 7 arc, where it was revealed that, 800 years before the current setting, the ancient shipwrights of Water 7 created Pluton. Knowing how great the threat of such a weapon could be, they passed down its blueprints to each of their predecessors over the centuries, until they found their way to Franky.
“Pluton”. It is said that a single blast from it can destroy an entire island without leaving a trace…
In Chapter 1154, it was revealed that the Galley-La Company on Water 7 was named after the Galleila Giants, an ancient band of shipwrights from the island of Elbaf who existed so long ago that even the Giants consider them to be a legend. This is a great connection to be made since the island always had massive doorways and gates for seemingly no reason, until now. From this, it can be inferred that it was these Giants who originally built Plutonall those centuries ago on Water 7. Eventually, they were all captured and frozen to death on Punk Hazard.
The theory here is that Pluton can only be used by a Giant from Elbaf who is born with those special eyes, which, in this case, is Loki. The Galleila Giants likely put this as the precondition for anyone to use the Ancient Weapon, which would make Loki an even more important ally in the Final War than fans originally thought. This is mostly speculation, but it all ties into the lore of the Giants and Loki perfectly.
How This Can Be Perfect For The Future Of The Thousand Sunny
The Greatest Ship Upgrade Ever
Seeing as how the Final Saga has officially started with the Elbaf arc, many are still confused about what the role of Pluton isgoing to be in the Final War. However, this entire thing with Loki may be the perfect answer to it, since many believe that Pluton will either be found by the World Government or the Blackbeard Pirates, making it one of the greatest threats to the heroes and what they want to achieve.
Of course, if others find and use Pluton, it would fly in the face of this theory, but it could still be a possibility considering the ancient knowledge Imu, and even Blackbeard, seem to have. If this is the case, then the only thing left for the heroes to do against it calls for a massive upgrade to the Thousand Sunny, which many believe is going to happen at the end of the Elbaf arc. This potential upgrade would make the Straw Hats' flagship the perfect match for the Ancient Weapon.
Basically, Franky was the last person to ever view the blueprints of Pluton, which most fans believe he memorized before burning during the Water 7 arc. Because of this, he remains the only person on the planet, save perhaps for Iceberg, who knows how to create this superweapon, andbeing on Elbaf affords him the perfect opportunityto do so. This is because this is the land where the Adam Tree is located, whose wood is used to make the best ships on the entire ocean.
Many believe that, at the end of the arc, Franky will use as much Adam Tree wood as he needs to upgrade the Sunny to be at its strongest state, which would make it a massive battleship capable of taking on Pluton in the Final War. If this theory about Loki’s eyes ends up coming true, he will likely join the crew and will be the one to use it to take down Pluton in the Final War, which would just be incredible to see.
