Nintendo Switch Onlinehas often been criticized for its lack of features when compared to its contemporaries, with the lack of a party chat system being one of the most prevalent. To make up for those shortcomings,Nintendo Switch Onlineoffers an extensive library of retro video games that encompasses 20 years of gaming history. Thanks to the Nintendo Switch 2’s recent release, that library is even bigger.
Along with finally bringing a party system in the form of GameChat, the Nintendo Switch 2 has added a GameCube library to Nintendo Switch Online. There are currently just four GameCube titles available for NSO, those beingZelda: The Wind Waker,F-Zero GX,Soulcalibur 2, and therecently addedSuper Mario Strikers. Six more are confirmed to be on their way soon, but even then, there’s a plethora of GameCube games that deserve a spot on Nintendo Switch Online.
Super Mario Sunshine,Luigi’s Mansion,Chibi-Robo,Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance,Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, andPokemon Colosseumare all confirmed to be coming to Nintendo Switch Online in the near future, so they won’t be appearing on this list.

It feels like only a matter of time beforeSuper Smash Bros. Meleeis added to Switch Online, especially given that theNSO GameCube controllerwould be such a perfect fit for it.
