Pokemon Legends: Z-Afans took to social media to share comparisons between one of the game’s new characters, Corbeau from the Rust Syndicate, and Fezandipiti, one of the Legendary Loyal Three creatures fromPokemon Scarlet and Violet.Pokemon Legends: Z-Atrainers compared Corbeau’s clothing and scowling gaze to the black, brown, and pink plumage that Fezandipiti has.
During the July 2025 episode of Pokemon Presents, the final segment of the show was dedicated to sharing more information about the main features andsupporting characters ofPokemon Legends: Z-A. Along with the reveal of Mega Dragonite and the Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokemon mechanic, trainers were introduced to Corbeau, the menacing leader of the Rust Syndicate and a specialist in Poison-type Pokemon like Arbok.Pokemon Legends: Z-Atrainers will face him as part of the game’s Z-A Royale, a battle ranking challenge loosely based on the Pokemon Gym matches of pastPokemongames.
While it remains to be seenif Corbeau and the Rust Syndicate are the true villainsofPokemon Legends: Z-A, fans noticed that the syndicate leader already sports a familiar resemblance to a legendary monster. On thePokemonsubreddit, a Reddit user named VolcanicSquad09 shared a picture that compared Corbeau’s outfit to the Legendary Pokemon Fezandipiti. Corbeau’s black coat was outlined by poison-drop patterns along the bottom seam, with pink earrings, golden glasses, and a coat pin that houses a Keystone used for Mega Evolution.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Fans Compare Corbeau To Fezandipiti
Corbeau’s coat colors were similar to the ones used by Fezandipiti’s plumage, as it has brown and black feathers with a pink Toxic Chain given to it by Pecharunt. While somePokemontrainers saw the comparison with Fezandipiti, other fans stated Corbeau’s poison-drop motif was similar to one used by Atticus, the Poison-type lieutenant of Team Star fromPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Asone of Kitakami’s Loyal ThreeinPokemon Scarlet and Violet, Fezandipiti is a Poison and Fairy dual-type Legendary Pokemon known for its deceptively high special defense and speed stats. Fezandipiti’s diverse move pool and Toxic Chain ability make it a consistent threat in battle. Fenzandipiti shares the Toxic Chain motif and ability with Munkidori and Okidogi, along with being Pecharunt’s retainers. Fezandipiti can be battled and caught on Kitakami’s Oni Mountain during the main story of theTeal Maskexpansion.
However, further details about Corbeau and the Rust Syndicate remain elusive as of this writing. WithMega Evolution returning as a core mechanic inPokemon Legends: Z-A, it remains to be seen how Corbeau and other trainers will use it as part of the Z-A Royale.
