After years of audiences asking for a sequel to the hit 2006 action-adventure gameBully, developer Refugium Games has answered the call with a spiritual successor,Agefield High: Rock the School. Set to release exclusively forPCvia Steam in early 2026,Agefield High: Rock the Schoolsees players once again taking on the life of an ambitious student ready to do whatever it takes to climb the social ladder.
The originalBullygame from Rockstarwas met with favorable reviews upon release but also sparked controversy for content deemed inappropriate for the teenage target audience. In spite of being hit by censorship and even bans in various countries,Bullyhas earned a cult following, and many have lamented the cancellation of an officialBullysequel. Looking to scratch the nostalgic itch for early 2000s culture while bringing back iconic student life gameplay, Refugium Games has revealed a first look at their upcomingBully-inspired launch.
Agefield High: Rock the Schoolwill transport players to the titular town of Agefield, where they will need to help protagonist Sam to make the most of his last three months at high school by rebelling against the administration and winning over his dream girl. Offering a “free to explore” world, players will be able to take Sam to one of his five classes or play hooky while exploring the local neighborhoods, town center, and even the countryside. However, the school attendance system will penalize students who miss too many classes, so players will need to balance their time between English and geography pop quizzes and fist fights in the back alleys of Agefield. With mechanics reminiscent ofgames likeGrand Theft Autoand the originalBully,Agefield High: Rock the Schoolencourages players to make a name for themselves by whatever means necessary.
