WhenMy Hero Academiaended, fans saw Shoto Todoroki break freefrom what he once considered a curse, and that was being Endeavor’s son. It is said that Shoto immediately went to compete for the top ranks, alongside Bakugo Katsuki. While his opening rank on the Hero Billboard Chart isn’t known, what fans do know is that Bakugo opened at #4, which means that Shoto Todoroki should be close somewhere, possibly in the #5 spot, or perhaps above Bakugo. Regardless, Shoto continued to work hard, and eventually, he took over Endeavor’s agency as well.

As seen in My Hero Academia chapter 431, Shoto Todoroki goes on to become the Number 2 Hero, just behind Mirio Togata, the Number 1. By this time, people around him start seeing him as his own person, and not just Emdeavor’s son.
