How to Complete New Fashion Old Feelings Quest in Monster Hunter Wilds
To start the New Fashion, Old Feelings quest inMonster Hunter Wilds, first head to the Base Camp in Windward Plains. Look forGemmaat her smithy station, who should have a yellow quest marker above her head. Speak to her, and a cutscene will ensue with her discussing how to bring a new fashionable angle to hunter gear. To test her theory, she’ll ask you to craft and wear specific pieces of layered gear to show her.
As the quest notes, ensure you pay attention to the tier of gear requested (e.g. - alpha, beta) and the gender type requested as well (i.e. - male is circle, female is diamond). If you attempt to submit any pieces that don’t adhere to the request, Gemma won’t accept it.
Important Note: While some of the objectives indicate that either alpha or beta versions of the requested piece are acceptable, you will be asked to wearall alpha piecesto show Gemma, so prioritize crafting those. This may be a quest-related bug.
Once you forge all of the requested pieces, head to your tent andequip them asLayered Armor(not your actual armor). you’re able to do this via the’Equipment Appearance’option. Saving the layered set as its own loadout is the easiest method, as once you complete the quest you can simply switch it off and delete it if you wish.
Head back to Gemma in the Windward Plains and select the’How’s this layered armor?‘dialogue option to show her your look.
