A Minecraft Movieachieved massive popularityafter its debut in April, starring Jack Black as Steve alongside other big names, including Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, and Emma Myers. The song that players can listen to in the game doesn’t actually contain Jack Black’s singing, though it does feature vocals fromMinecraft’s Villager mob, which is debatably even better. The track is a mostly chiptune rendition of the original song created by Hyper Potions, and can be obtained in-game by killing a Chicken Jockey. The latest update forMinecraft: Bedrock Editiondoesn’t add much beyond this one small but amusing new music disc, though it does address a variety of bugs across several platforms and introduces a couple of minor quality-of-life tweaks. In particular, the latest version tones down the light intensity emissions from most torches when usingMinecraft’s Vibrant Visuals graphics settings, a change that has been quite widely suggested since the feature first launched.
