Alongside fresh cosmetics,Marvel Rivalswill be adding a new team-up featuring The Thing and Human Torch.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed that players will be able to participate in the upcoming Summer Special event when it launches on July 17 at 2 AM PDT. The Summer Special event will feature a pass filled with both paid and free cosmetics for Luna Snow, Thor, andThe Thing inMarvel Rivals. According to the post, players will have access to the pass through August 15 at 2 AM PDT. However, fans who purchase the premium version of the pass will unlock it permanently, allowing them to complete it at their own pace. As of writing, NetEase Games hasn’t announced just how much the premium version of the Summer Special event pass will cost.
Marvel Rivals Is Releasing Summer Skins for Thor, Luna Snow, and The Thing
Luna Snow will be receiving a new skin called Cool Summer, which shows the hero wearing a blue and white swimsuit. The Thing can be seen sporting a small black Speedo and has flowers draped around his neck as part of his Sunshine Thing costume. In addition to new outfits for Luna Snow and The Thing, players will be able to claim a free skin forThor inMarvel Rivals, which is called Worthy Waves. The iconic Marvel character can be seen wearing black swim-trunks, stylish sunglasses, and a yellow headband.
Players will also have the opportunity to acquire new costumes forPsylocke and Loki inMarvel Rivals. Loki’s Robe of Relaxation skin shows the hero wearing a green wide-brimmed hat with gold accents and a matching robe. Meanwhile, Psylocke can be seen sporting a teal and purple swimsuit as part of her Breezy Butterfly costume. As of writing, NetEase Games hasn’t revealed just how much either skin will cost when they arrive in the store on July 17 at 7 PM PDT. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofMarvel Rivals.
