Marvel Rivalshas given players their first look at two new skins for the Duelists Magik and Black Panther, which will be available for purchase on July 31 at 7 PM PDT. NetEase Games recently revealed that its major Season 3.5 update forMarvel Rivalswill be launching on August 8, creating a lot of excitement within the community.
While many players have been enjoying Season 3, some gamers have complained that there might betoo many Duelists inMarvel Rivals. Duelists, which focus on dealing a lot of damage and eliminating opponents, currently outnumber both Vanguards and Strategists in the popular hero shooter. While a lot of people don’t expect that the roles will ever be completely equal, some fans are frustrated that NetEase Games could be releasing two new Duelists in one season. Jean Grey has already made her debut as a Duelist at the start of Season 3, and it’s rumored that Blade will also be a Duelist when he arrives during the major mid-season update on August 8.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a good look at two new skins for the Duelists Magik andBlack Panther inMarvel Rivals, which will be available in the game’s store on July 31 at 7 PM PDT. Magik’s costume is called Phoenix Demon and the image appears to show the hero sporting a black leather outfit with a flaming phoenix on her chest. Meanwhile, Black Panther’s skin is called Phoenix Panther and shows the hero sporting black and gold armor with a mask and flaming crown. As of writing, NetEase Games has not revealed just how much either skin or cosmetic bundle will cost.
Marvel Rivals Reveals Phoenix Demon and Phoenix Panther Skins
It was recently teased thatMarvel Rivals' The Thing could be receiving another skinduring Season 3. Marvel recently gave players a look at the upcoming cover art for aMarvel Rivalscomic book that will be making its debut soon. The comic will kick off a new “King in Black” arc, which will line up with the Season 3 story of the popular hero shooter. On the cover, The Thing can be seen sporting a symbiote suit, which isn’t currently available as a costume in the game. Plenty of other heroes were also showing off their symbiote costumes, but they’re already available in the game through the store or the battle pass.
Marvel Rivalsmay also be getting some new swimsuit costumesin the near future, as artwork of Human Torch sporting a summer look was recently teased. Players already have the ability to pick up summer skins for heroes like Thor, The Thing, Luna Snow, Psylocke, and more. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofMarvel Rivals.
