Both characters will be Duelists, making Season 3 the first season to lack any kind of Vanguard or Strategist.
In addition to fresh heroes, NetEase Games will be sending players back toKlyntar inMarvel Rivals. The new map, Klyntar: Celestial Husk, is located on the home world of the symbiotes, which also happens to be where the villain Knull is currently residing. Knull is set to play a big part in the story of Season 3, though it remains to be seen how things will progress over the course of the next couple of months.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed that players will soon be able to claim a free costume for the popular flying DuelistStorm inMarvel Rivals. The skin is called Symbiote Storm and, as one might expect, showcases a time when Storm was depicted as donning the iconic Venom suit. According to the post, this costume is based on the Venomized Variant of the first issue ofX-Men Prime, which made its debut in 2017. While the costume still features Storm’s signature flowing white hair, the rest of her face and costume have been coated in the black goo of the symbiote. Players will be able to earn this free cosmetic by completing the Milano Repair Logs challenges, which sees the Guardians of the Galaxy working to fix key components of their ship.

Storm won’t be the only hero getting a symbiote-themed costume in Season 3, as several other characters will be receiving similar outfits inMarvel Rivals' upcoming battle pass. While some heroes will be receiving skins based on the Phoenix Force, others will be donning symbiotes for the first time in the popular hero shooter’s history. This includes heroes like Spider-Man, Jeff the Land Shark, Groot, Squirrel Girl, and Rocket Raccoon.
Players eager to get their hands on a new symbiote costume right away might want to check out Captain America’s newCaptain Klyntar costume inMarvel Rivals. The skin shows the iconic hero donning the Venom suit and is modeled after his appearance in theEdge of Venomversecomic book from 2017. The Captain Klyntar costume is currently available in the game’s shop.
