There have beenrumors about Blade’s abilities, including a potentially game-changing anti-heal skill, butMarvel Rivalshas yet to officially reveal his full kit. Meanwhile, aTwitter videouploaded by popular leaker RivalsInfo showcased Blade’s Team-Up with Moon Knight and Cloak and Dagger called “Lunar Force.” Based on the 28-second clip, the ability adds a force field around Blade, which turns him invisible and possibly gives him temporary protection from shots. It is unclear if Moon Knight or other heroes who are not part of the Team-Up can also benefit from the force field as well.

How Blade’s Rumored Team-Up Gives Him an Edge in Marvel Rivals

Blade is rumored to be a Duelist, which would make sense based on his leaked ability kit, which includes interchangeable primary attacks using a sword and a shotgun. His Shift Ability, allegedly called “Step and Chop,” reportedly gives him the ability to reduce enemies' healing and movement speed depending on the weapon he’s wielding.Blade’s rumored anti-healing skillis reminiscent of Ana’s ability inOverwatch, and it would be the first time thatMarvel Rivalswill have a character feature like this. If Lunar Force is active, it could give Blade a chance to go on the offensive and chip away at enemies' HP while the force field protects him. This could also aid Blade while his rumored E ability, Blood Liberation, is active, since he’s said to be able to self-heal while inflicting damage.

According to theMarvel RivalsSeason 3 roadmap, the game will officially launch Blade in Season 3.5, which comes out on August 8. Fans still have to wait less than a month before they can finally experience the vampire hunter in their teams. At the same time, if Blade’s anti-healing skill is real, players might want to change their team compositions in order to counter him.
