Jean Grey was recently added toMarvel Rivalsas the Duelist Phoenix, showcasing a time when the popular mutant wielded the power of the Phoenix Force. While many fans have enjoyed trying out the new hero, some players have taken issue with her team-up with Wolverine. The duo’s team-up ability increases Wolverine’s damage potential and durability, making him an even more fearsome combatant on the battlefield. NetEase Games did nerf Wolverine and the Primal Flame team-up recently, but some players still feel he’s a little too powerful when paired with Phoenix.
In a recent post on Reddit, Hybbleton shared a piece of their own artwork that blends Season 3’s Phoenix and symbiote themes into one impressive skin forCloak and Dagger inMarvel Rivals. It’s a genius idea, as the characters Cloak and Dagger embody light and darkness, which are easily represented by the power of the Phoenix Force and the symbiotes. In the artwork, Cloak can be seen donning a symbiote suit with flowing black robes and bright white eyes. Meanwhile, Dagger is wearing a red and white outfit with accents of gold and flame. Dagger’s outfit looks distinct, but is somewhat reminiscent of the current skin available for Emma Frost in the battle pass for Season 3.

However, The Thing can also be seen wearing a symbiote suit, which isn’t currently available as a skin. Some gamers are hoping the new cosmetic will show up after the title’s major mid-season update.
