NetEase’sMarvel Mystic Mayhemis the latest to roll the dice.
A team-based tactical mobile RPG,Marvel Mystic Mayhemsees a roster of almost 30 Marvel characters join forces to take down the Lord of Dreams, a villain attempting to corrupt the minds of the universe’s greatest heroes.Marvel Mystic Mayhemjust came out, but its roster is already walking in the same footsteps as NetEase’s other incredibly popular superhero game,Marvel Rivals.

Hulk, Emma Frost, Iron Man, and Doctor Strange Are The Best Marvel Mystic Mayhem Heroes Right Now
At the time of writing,Marvel Mystic Mayhemhas been available for only a day. But there’s already a clear meta starting to form.Marvel Mystic Mayhem’s rosteris split into four separate classes: Defender, Controller, Striker, and Fighter. Defenders serve asMystic Mayhem’s frontline tanks. Controllers are backline support heroes. Strikers are long-range attackers. And Fighters are melee-focused characters.
There are 26 heroes currently onMarvel Mystic Mayhem’s roster, and these four are at the very top of their respective classes:

In what’s likely just a fun coincidence, some ofMarvel Mystic Mayhem’s best charactersare also at the top ofMarvel RivalsSeason 2.5’s meta. Though the meta changes every time there’s a new round of nerfs and buffs, some ofMarvel Rivals' most consistent heroes in the last month or so have been Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Hulk.
It’ll be interesting to see ifMarvel Mystic Mayhem’s meta continues to follow inMarvel Rivals' footsteps, or whether it’ll develop a more distinct roster in the future thanks to its unique roster.
