While exploring the areas around Shu Sanctum inWuchang: Fallen Feathers, players may find a tall rock formation that is surrounded by statues. One of those statues is marked by a blue glowing effect, and players who interact with it will be instructed to “look to the horizon to reunite with faces of the past.” The way to perform that action may not be immediately apparent, though, and this guide is here to assistWuchang: Fallen Feathersplayers who are confused about how to proceed.
For those players who would like to keep spoilers to a minimum, it may be enough to know that objects that are marked with the aforementioned blue glowing effect are typically addressed with apose. Notably, players may have found another object with this marking near Shu Sanctum that instructs them to"pay your respects before the God of Shu’s statue to reunite with faces of the past."
How to Look to the Horizon to Reunite with Faces of the Past in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
Wuchang: Fallen Feathersplayerswho are attempting to look to the horizon to reunite with faces of the past should begin bystanding next to the statuethat provides that instruction. While there is some flexibility to the position that the player must assume, it is recommended that they stand so that the statue is to their immediate left and their character is facing the horizon.
Once in position, players should open the pose menu and select theGaze pose. Notably, this pose should already be assigned to one of the slots in the pose menu, and here is how that menu is accessed on various platforms:
If the Gaze pose is not already assigned, highlight a slot, press the “Replace” input that is displayed beneath the poses, and select Gaze from the poses that appear.

That said, players will only get one use out of the item, and it is definitely not mandatory that they collect it.
