What Time Does Killing Floor 3 Release?
The Same Across All Platforms
It’s been confirmed thatKilling Floor 3will be released at 6 AM PT/ 9 AM ET/ 2 PM BST on July 24. This is a simultaneous release, meaning that rather than the game being available to play at midnight in each region’s respective time zone, the game will instead be live at the exact same moment around the world. This is typically the case for multiplayer games where servers will go live at the same time for hosting games. It’s worth noting that there is no early access period forKilling Floor 3, regardless of which edition of the game you get. Both theDigital Deluxe and Elite Digital Editions of the gameonly include additional in-game items and skins.
However, a stress test will be taking place on July 22 from 12 PM ET until 10 PM ET to help make sure the servers are ready for launch day. Otherstress tests have taken place earlier this year, too.
Get Ready for the Hordes
Developer Tripwire Interactive has confirmed thatKilling Floor 3’spreload period will begin from 6 AM PT/ 9 AM ET/ 2 PM BST on July 22, two days before the game’s official release. This should give players plenty of time to get the game downloaded ahead of the July 24 release date. TheKilling Floor 3Steam Store page suggests that the game will only take up a maximum of 20 GB, so the download shouldn’t take too long, even for those on slower internet connections.
Keep in mind that you need to pre-purchaseKilling Floor 3through the PlayStation Store, Steam, or the Xbox Store in order to preload the game.
