One of thecoolest parts aboutKilling Floor 3is the ability to customize classes and weapon loadouts to bring into the next fight. Players get a nice amount of variety in terms of playstyles, but one of the stronger classes and weapon types is the snipers and the Sharpshooter, who makes the most of the long-range assault with her expansive skill tree of powerful upgrades.
There are quite a few ways to approach the class. Players can use the Sharphsooter as a supportive damage dealer in the back, or have her run head-on into the fray without any worries in the world. But no matter how the player chooses to play her, she will always pack a punch and deliver some incredible power, whether through utility or raw offensive capability. These are the best builds that unlock the Sharpshooter’s full potential.

For a class all about sniping, it makes sense to lean heavily into that idea.Using weapon modsand skills that benefit those heavy hits will allow players to make the most of the massive damage potential that snipers have. Skills like Big Shot are a basic yet easy way of increasing the player’s damage by a considerable amount. Further down the tree, players have access to other options like Big Game Hunter, which amplifies that damage even further, turning a single sniper bullet into a monstrous shot that can one-shot almost any enemy and deal considerable chunks to the bosses as well.
In terms of mods, it is a good idea tospend those materialson ammo types first, as they provide some of the best benefits for the investment. Armor-piercing Rounds are a great choice that can help the Sharpshooter take out some of the tankier Zeds, but there are a few other types that can be useful to have in a loadout to target certain weaknesses. In addition to ammo, having a nice scope is incredibly valuable, both for the stats it gives and the added benefit of being able to take out enemies at a much further distance. Overall, the core sniper fantasy can be fully realized without too much trouble, and the result is one of the strongest builds in the entire game.
Although classes inKF3have their own set of skill trees andweapon types, there is nothing stopping the player from swapping between the other guns at any point in their run. With this in mind, there are plenty of Sharpshooter skills that work perfectly fine with other weapon types, like assault rifles. This means that players can shift away from the single-shot playstyle and opt for a more DPS-oriented build, if they want to help clear out the hordes as opposed to targeting the larger enemies.
Skills like Evasive Maneuverer and Hunter feed into the more aggressive approach, granting buffs to the player’s overall survivability and damage output when on the move. For mods, extra bullets will go a long way for mobile gunners, so an extended mag will always be a great choice. Combining it with a suppressor gives the whole team more Zed times as the game goes on, making escapes way easier and focus-fire on the boss Zeds just a bit easier. The build does lack the raw single-shot damage of the snipers, but the ability to stay mobile and still dish out decent damage is a nice way of using some of the less obvious skills in the tree.
Likemany of the other classes, the Sharpshooter has some great utility options in her kit that can provide additional bonuses to the team throughout the waves. Her grenade is a great tool when it comes to controlling the hordes and slowing down any incoming assaults. When combined with skills like Black-Ice or Blizzard, it becomes a hugely valuable tool that can either freeze large groups or weaken them to be focused down as a team.
There are also some nice options in the gadget tree, like Cold-Blooded, which allows the player to save it for a sticky situation to then escape with a burst of ice. In addition to the cold effects, the player will want to have some more general ammo types, like Explosive Rounds. This way, they will be able to deal consistent damage across a wave, without sacrificing their overall output in the process. Also, the utility can be amplified even further by picking up one of the Medic guns, which turns the Sharpshooter into a mobile healing unit with a load of crowd-control that can quickly aid teammates in the stickest of situations.
