Tokyo Ghoul Returns To Theaters On July 21
The Tokyo Ghoul anime is technically returning, but not in the way fans think it is. It was recently announced that Tokyo Ghoul’s anime will be returning in theaters as a rerun compilation. In theaters, a few episodes from the first season will be screened. Those episodes are episodes 1, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
This event will take place for one night only, on July 15, 2025. This is exclusive to the United States, and while it isn’t a reboot of the series, it should still be an exciting experiencefor all Tokyo Ghoul fanswho can attend it.

Tokyo Ghoul, despite its bad adaptation past season 1, might still be worth a watch for many fans. The series is available to stream on Netflix with all three seasons, the world’s biggest streaming platform.
