Following the success ofNip/Tuck, McMahon booked the most prominent role of his film career inFantastic Four’sVictor Von Doom. Not only was McMahon one of the stars in one of the biggest films of 2005, but he also got to bring one of the most famous villains ever created to life on the big screen. Sure, McMahon’s Doom wasn’t the most comic-accurate version of the character, but the actor did bring Doom’s intelligence, anger, and obsession to life quite successfully. McMahon also reprised the role in 2007’sFantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

After his time as Doctor Doom came to an end, McMahon continued to show up on the big screen in critically acclaimed films likeRed,Swinging Safari, andMonster Party.
