Summary

JoyToy just dropped details on their latestWarhammer 40Kfigure, and it’s pretty darn awesome. This new Ultramarines Space Marine comes in Relic Secundus armor that’s pulled straight from the Space Marine 2 game. At $57-68 depending on where you buy it, it’s definitely on the pricier side, but there’s some solid reasons why people are already getting hyped.

The armor design is what really sets this apart from their other blue boys. Relic Secundus is artificer armor, which inWarhammer loremeans it’s ancient, fancy, and covered in extra details that regular Mark X armor doesn’t have. On closer look, you can see some proper Ultramarines heraldry etched into the plates, burnished gold trims, and surface texturing that matches what you see in the game.

Beyond that, the bolt rifle has correct mk.XV details, the chainsword has individual sculpted teeth, andthere’s scripture carved into the bolt pistol.

Some More Insight On The Space Marine

The figure stands about 5 inches tall with 28 points of articulation. The shoulder design lets him hold rifles in convincing two-handed grips, and the armor pieces are designed so they don’t smash into each other when you move the joints around. You get four different hands, the bolt rifle, chainsword, and a bolt pistol.

Where To Buy And What It Costs

Pre-orders are up at a bunch of places with different prices and ship dates. JoyToy’s own store has it for $57 and says July 2025.Warhammer’s official merch store wants around $65 for September delivery. BigBadToyStore is asking $68, but they don’t charge until it actually ships, plus you can cancel easily if something goes wrong.

The price differences come down to import costs and who’s eating the tariff fees. BBTS costs more, but their customer service is solid. JoyToy’s July date is probably optimistic - their staff usually ships a few months late, so expecting it in fall is more realistic.

This scales perfectly with every other JoyToy Space Marine they’ve made, so if you’re collecting the whole squad, it fits right in. Between the LED feature and how good the chainsword looks, it feels like a step up from their regular releases. The Relic armor design is different enough from standard Mark X that it doesn’t feel like you’re just buying the same figure in slightly different blue.

Is It Worth It?

If you’re already collecting JoyToy’s Warhammer stuff, this is probably an easy yes. The LED eyes, detailed armor, and weapon quality justify spending a bit more. For newcomers, it’s a pretty expensive 5-inch figure, but it’s probably the best Ultramarines rep you can get without dropping too much money.

Given how fast JoyToy’s limited runs sell out and the buzz this is already generating, waiting probably means paying scalper prices later. If you want it, getting a pre-order in now makes sense.
