Lee Jung-jae Discusses Their Take On The Squid Game Season 3 Ending
In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter,Lee Jung-jae praised the ending ofSquid Gameseason 3. The star said that another show wouldn’t have featured this type of ending, but it makes sense given the overall message. He explained:
“Squid Gameis different. It’s not just spectacle — it’s about the themes of our inner humanity and societal relationships. I think director Hwang wanted a very clear and complete ending…”
The actor also shared that they had so much “trust” in Hwang Dong-hyuk that they knew this was the right direction for the story to take. They said:
“I made the choice to fully support his vision. I believed it was the best choice for the story.”
