InZOIhas shared a glimpse at the upcoming Island Getaway DLC, which will allow players to take their characters on a tropical vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Plenty of freshInZOIcontent is currently in the works at Krafton, with several major updates still coming to the popular life sim throughout 2025.

Since its release in early access in March,InZOIhas breathed new life into the life simulator genre, proving to be a worthy contender toThe Sims 4and wowing audiences with its realistic graphics and intricate character customization options. Unfortunately, in June, it was announced thatInZOI’s highly anticipated modding updatehad been delayed to October from its previous September release date. The patch will add mod support for several character features and building pieces, and will also allow players to create new interactions with other Zois. While fans are eagerly awaiting this useful update, an incomingInZOIDLC has been properly teased, and many are eager to take their characters to have some fun in the sun.

On July 28, the officialInZOIYouTube channel shared a brief concept teaser of the upcoming Island Getaway DLC, highlighting new environments and activities Zois can enjoy while getting away from the grind. While the exact release date for the update is still unknown,anInZOIlivestream will be held on August 15, with Krafton promising to share more details about Island Getaway, along with behind-the-scenes developer stories and more. It was previously revealed that Island Getaway will allow players to own boats and travel between islands, where they can choose to live and work.

August will continue to be a big month for the highly anticipated update, asInZOI’s first DLC will be shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Additionally, those attending the event in person will be able to try out Island Getaway for themselves, as a demo will be available. It’s likely that Krafton will share a release date, or release window, during the show, though some wonder if it will also face a delay.

Last month, Krafton released a survey asking players what they like and dislike about the life sim. Unsurprisingly, fans are most fond ofInZOI’s realistic character customization, art style, detailed Build Mode, and open world. On the other hand, players criticized the title for its lack of simulation content, unnatural interactions, and poor optimization. AsInZOIis currently in early access, the developers are continuously working to implement player feedback and add new content to keep the player base engaged.
