Zenitsu’s opponent is Kaigaku,who holds the position of Upper Moon Six. He succeeded Gyutaro and Daki after their deaths in the Entertainment District arc. Zenitsu’s fight against Kaigaku is going to be pivotal to the overall story.
Zenitsu Can Outshine Tanjiro In Infinity Castle Arc’s First Film
So far, Tanjiro has always been at the forefront of things, which is understandable as he is the main protagonist of the series. In the last few arcs, Tanjiro has really stepped up his efforts and improved his skills massively. In the Infinity Castle arc, Tanjiro will have to put his strength to the test against Akaza, whom he encountered in the Mugen Train arc.
Akaza is Upper Moon Two, meaninghe is one of Muzan’s strongest underlings. Fans saw Akaza’s strength when he fought against Rengoku. The Flame Hashira definitely pushed Akaza to the extreme, but eventually, the demon came out on top. In the Infinity Castle arc, Tanjiro will team up with Giyu Tomioka to fight against Akaza. This particular fight will certainly be exciting, but Zenitsu could potentially steal Tanjiro’s thunder.

Zenitsu’s fight against Kaigakuwill be fascinating. Kaigaku was Zenitsu’s senior when they used to train under the Thunder Hashira. Naturally, it will be difficult for Zenitsu to fight against someone whom he trained with. He will have to attack Kaigaku with a heavy heart. On the other hand, Kaigaku should have no such problems. Considering Kaigaku gave up his humanity, it’s plausible to assume that he does not have any empathy towards Zenitsu. So, it will be a lot easier for him to take down his opponent.

Zenitsu will have to remain vigilantand watch his opponent’s every move. Fans are already aware of the strength of an Upper Moon Six, so they know what Kaigaku can do to Zenitsu. If the latter miscalculates even a single move. Kaigaku has far superior physical traits than Zenitsu, and he even has regenerative abilities, making it almost impossible to kill him with a few hits.
Despite the odds stacked against him, Zenitsu won’t step down. He will face the demon with his full strength and do his best to bring him down.
