To unlock Safe Houses, players must connect the facilities in Australia until they reachHeartman’s LabduringMain Order 23. After completing this mission, you’ll unlock several rewards, including theJump Ramp,Extra Battery, and the Safe House.Fabricate a PCC Lv. 2and build a Safe House wherever you choose. Where To Build Safe Houses in Death Stranding 2
Safe Houses can be built anywhere; however, it’s best not to waste your resources on areas you don’t visit often. The game features facilities withConnection Levels that can be increasedto Level 5 by completingStandardandSub-Ordersor by deliveringLost Cargofound during your deliveries. In cases where the distance between two facilities is long,it’s advisable to build a Safe House between themso you’re able to rest and restore your hunger levels before continuing.
Since Safe Houses also offer aGaragefeature, you can park yourvehicles to have them repairedand their batteries recharged. In the latter part of the game, players will need to deliver cargo in a snowy mountainous region.Most of the facilities in this area only have terminals and no Private Rooms. There will be times when the DHV Magellan cannot move due to tar currents, making frostbite a risk to Sam’s health that must be treated immediately with a shower. In such cases, building a Safe House near these facilities can greatly ease your cargo deliveries.
