Once you reach the point of Kiuchi’s Palace whereMotoha Arai awakens her Personaduring a fight, she will text you later on to ask you if you have time to hang out after school the next day. She’ll take you to Munehusa Iwai’s Airsoft shop (which you should remember if you played the base game).
The man will teach you all about upgrading and switching out weapons. Once you’re done,keep progressing the story until you end up in the Metaverse with Motoha and Lufel. There will be anunskippable tutorial about using guns in battle with a couple of demons.
How to Use Guns in Persona 5 Phantom X
You simply select theGunoption on the combat menu, and then you’re able to choose the enemy you want to shoot. You can continue to use your gun until the ammo runs out (this will replenish over time automatically). You can check to see if an enemy might be weak to Gun damage by checkingIntel(LB/L1 if you’re using a PS or Xbox controller).
Once you decide to use your gun during a turn, you won’t be able to use another move right after. The gun counts as a regular move, even if you just shoot one bullet.
