Altogether, the open-world ofDeath Stranding 2has52 tracksfor players to unlock during gameplay, 18 of which are available from the start when players connect The Musician to theChiral Network during Episode 3: Dawnbridge. The remaining tracks must be unlocked by progressing through the main quests or by reaching certain connection levels with other Preppers available in Australia.
Also, while players can generally listen to their customplaylists almost anywhere inDeath Stranding 2, this feature has some limitations. For example, if they enter alocation not connected to the Chiral Network, all songs will stop playing. Also, in some segments of the game, there arescripted soundtracks, meaning that even if the Music Player is active, Sam will not be able to use this feature.
