Fast travel plays an important role in mostmodern open-world gamesdue to the sheer size and scale of their worlds. This is certainly the case withDonkey Kong Bananza, which packs in numerous layers and sub-layers for players to explore.

How to Fast Travel in Donkey Kong Bananza
Players will unlock fast travel afterdefeating the Peekabruiser bossand speaking with the blue eel near the hole that leads down to the Hilltop Layer. Once they’ve done so, they’ll simply need toopen the map by pressing the - buttonand thenuse the left and right D-pad buttons to cycle between locations. Once they find the one that they want to fast travel to, they shouldpress the A button to Teeleport.
Players will need to visit a location before they can fast travel to it. Not all of the key locations on the map are part of the Teeleport network.
How to Return to Previous Layers in Donkey Kong Bananza
Players will also be able to use the Teeleport network to fast travel between layers, although the process for doing so is slightly different. Rather than finding the location that they want to travel to on the map, they’ll need tohead to the current layer’s warp gong and punch it. This will summon the mother eel, who is able to transportDK and Paulinebetween layers. As with regular fast travel, players will simply need to select the layer they want to fast travel to and then press the A button to go there.
Although players can’t fast travel directly between layers via the map screen, theycanfast travel to the warp gong after using it for the first time.
