How To Move Buildings & Trees in Medieval Dynasty

One key feature that was added toMedieval Dynastyfollowing itsEchoes of Natureupdate was the ability to move structures you have built and position them in a new area. This doesn’t just apply to the external frame of the building - moving it will also relocate all the contents within it. Thankfully, this process is relatively simple, painless, and relatively fun, so you can customize and rearrange your village with ease.

To move a building inMedieval Dynasty, simplyequip your hammer, select “Move” from the Build Type wheel, then swing your hammer at the structureyou wish to move. This will pick it up, allowing you to carry it to its next home.

Players also have the option to move trees and rocks to new positions, but there is a key difference worth noting. This only applies to items that have been crafted by players, and not trees and other nature features that were there before. If you have not constructed it yourself, then you will only be able to remove it via cutting it out with an axe or pickaxe, depending on the item.

Take note of the color of the item outline when moving it. If the outline is red, there is something obstructing the building that prevents you from moving it there. Anytime the outline is green, you can drop the building in that spot.

There are no limitations to the number of times you may move any of your buildings, which makes life infinitely easier when making somechanges to your ever-growing village. If, however, you happen to pick a building up and don’t actually want to move it, or simply cannot find a better place to put it, you can cancel the action with a right click on your mouse, B on Xbox, or Circle on PlayStation.
