InPalworld’sTides of Terraria update, a large chunk of new content was implemented for players to enjoy. This includes the likes of new Pals, new areas to discover and explore, new items and materials for players to make the most of, and even new game mechanics and currencies.
One such new addition is Battle Tickets, which function as a new type of currency within thePalworldrealms. Battle Tickets can be used to acquire many different items, some of which will come in extremely handy to players fordeveloping their Basesand shaping their Pals to be as powerful as possible.
How to Get & Use Battle Tickets in Palworld
To acquire Battle Tickets inPalworld, players will need to visitthe Arena, which was added in the Tides of Terraria update. At the Arena, players can participate in solo and PVP battles to earn rewards and climb their way up a competitive ranking system. As a reward for participating in the solo battle mode, Challenge, players will be able to earn Battle Tickets, which can be accumulated and traded in with the merchant standing outside the Arena for a variety of different items.
In Challenge, players will take on various Palworld NPCs in battle with set teams. They are also able to choose what competitive ranking they would like these NPCs to compete at, which will alter the variety of rewards they earn upon completion. If completing a Challenge for the first time, players will earn multiple Battle Tickets. They can also repeat Challenges to farm for tickets to save up for specific items from the Arena merchant.
The types of inventory that the Arena merchant offers for sale range widely, and even include the likes of very rare or hard-to-source items that can be a bit of a pain to obtain through other methods. Notable items sold by this merchant includePal Reversers, Skill Fruits, Life Fruits, Implants, and Schematics.
Arena Location in Palworld
InPalworld, the Arena is located on a tiny island, set somewhat between the desert biome and the beginner grasslands biome. For the specific location on the world map, players can use the screenshot below as a reference to mark the location on their own world map and then set out and travel towards it. Once you have made your arrival, you will want to ensure that you activatethe Fast Travel markerlocated just left to the stairs leading up to the Arena entrance.
For players who have not yet uncovered the Arena in their playthrough and unlocked the Fast Travel marker, there are a couple of other points that you can use to your advantage to do so. The easiest of these points is the Fast Travel marker located at the top of the grassland biome/green island - the island where players first load into when beginning a new run. Specifically, this section of the grassy island cluster is titled the Eastern Wind Island. If players have this Fast Travel point unlocked, they can transport directly to this location from their Base, and then use aPal Mount to surf or flyto the Arena island.
To help guide players in the specific direction, a video showing how to get to the Arena using this exact Fast Travel shortcut has been included below. After reaching the point, players will simply need to adjust their player to be facing in the direction of the Arena island (you may confirm this by double-checking your map) and then set off in that direction.
