FortniteChapter 6 Season 3 is a superhero-themed season of epic proportions, taking players to a variety of unique POIs and granting access to a wide range of unique hero items. Fromthe Bass Boost for enhanced mobilityto the Tracking Visor for scanning and marking enemies, there is a wealth of abilities at the player’s disposal.
While most of the hero items and characters introduced inFortniteChapter 6 Season 3 are original, Superman joins the lineup in a recent update. Players canunlock the Superman Outfitin the bonus section of the Battle Pass, but they can alsowield his powers in Battle Royale using the Superman’s Call Mythic.Here is how to get it.
How to Get the Superman Mythic in Fortnite
Unlike the various Mythics dropped from bosses or the few thatcan be found in Academy Tech Labs, the Superman’s Call Mythic does not spawn in a fixed location. Instead, itdrops randomly during the first storm phaseand currently has a50 percent spawn ratein both Battle Royale and Zero Build playlists.
If players are in a match where Superman’s Call spawns, a notification will appear indicating that it is dropping in. Its location will then bepermanently marked on both the map and the compass for players to track.From there, players can head to the marked location andrun through the item to pick it up.Doing so triggers an animation where the player transforms into Superman, blasting into the sky and gaining access to several powerful abilities.
Generally, the item’s spawn locations are concentrated at the center of the map, so to get a head start on other players, try landing at the following locations to be close to it when it drops:
Much like the Godzilla form from Chapter 6 Season 1, only one person in a game can be Superman at a time. However, if players take down Superman, the players who dish out damagewill have achance of receiving the Surging Speed Boon, with the progress towards said Boon being tracked just below Superman’s health bar. The Surging Speed Boon allows the player tosprint faster and consume less stamina, with their speed being increased further at S Rank.
How to Use the Superman Mythic in Fortnite
The Superman’s Call Mythic grants players a variety of unique abilities that replace their standard weapons. Once activated, players remain in their Superman form until their health is fully depleted, whichtypically lasts around five minutes of game timeas long as they avoid taking damage.
