The Moon mini-game begins with a person trapped in a room, searching for a way to escape their captivity. While players can try different combinations of choices at the start, the game cannot be completed unless they find most of theGiftbox collectibles and send them down the inventory tubes. Which Collectibles Do You Need for the Moon.exe Mini-Game?

There are a total of25 giftbox memorabiliacollectibles that players can collect inFNAF: Secret of the Mimic. While collecting all the giftbox items is essential to getting the trophy, having all of them isn’t required to get the secret ending. Here’s a list of giftbox items you should have before attempting to complete the Moon.exe mini-game.

Players can gather only 24 collectibles in their first playthrough, as the (White) Tiger Plush can only be acquired at the start of New Game+.

How to Complete the Moon.exe Mini-game in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic

Once you have all the collectibles, interact with any Helper terminal in the game and start the Moon.exe program on it. Here’s thesequence of item interactionsyou’ll need to do to complete the mini-game and progress towards the secret ending ofFNAF: Secret of the Mimic.

Players can press the left or right buttons to switch areas/scenes in the mini-game. See the name of the scene/area to the top left of the terminal’s screen, to reference the actions mentioned below.

Closet

Open the closet door to get the Hedgehog mask and wear it afterward.

Bedroom Door

Interact with the Sharpy Plushie to get a key that you may use to open the window and escape the room.

West Forest Path

Interact with the nest outside and get the Chica Party Time Cup from it.

Forest Cave

Pick up the Starbright Night Light and pour the soup from the cauldron into the cup.

East Forest Path

Throw the soup at the gator to save the owl. Also, examine the tree to get a Ranger’s Knife.

Use the knife on the branch to make a Walking Stick.

Examine the statues and take the Bowtie off one.

Walk down to the Pond.

Dark Forest Pond

Examine the Toy Pirate Ship and take the Foxy Puppet. Later, walk back to the boulder.

Examine the Loom and take the Sewing Kit.

Dark Forest Path

Look at the Hollow Stump and get the Swing Bee Honey Bottle. Later, use the Walking Stick to head up the mountain.

Dark Forest Cabin

Give the Honey Bottle to the bear to make it go away. Later, open the cabin door.

Talk to the old woman inside and

Mask Workbench

Fix Fox, Rabbit, and Bear’s masks on the workbench using items you’ll already have collected. Once done, talk to the old woman again to get the Baby Owl Mask.

Put on the Baby Owl Mask and enter the cave.

Head deeper into the cave.

Cave Workshop

Get the Toy Hammer from the workbench. Later, head deeper into the cave.

Enter the north arch from the hub first.

Crystal Cave

Use the hammer on the crystal to get the statue’s left arm. Later, open the small door and memorize the arrows on the wall. Now, return to the Cave hub.

Cave Hub

Insert the statue’s left arm and head into the west arch and keep heading deeper.

Pirate Ship

Examine the Pirate Ship to get the fishing net. Later, examine the waterfall to walk through it and find a locked chest. Use the combination from the wall before unlocking the chest, i.e., Left, Right, Right, Left. Take the statue’s right from within. Now, head back to the Cave Hub.

Insert the statue’s right arm and enter the East Arch.

Cave Pool

Use the fishing net to pull the moon-shaped statue’s head out of the pond.

Insert the statue’s head to get teleported to the facility within the Moon.exe mini-game inFNAF: Secret of the Mimic.

Welcome Show

Take the Ticket from the animatronic and open the Security Door.

Jackie’s Showroom

Examine the crate to get magical Rainy Day Boots. Later, trap Jackie in the boots. Now, open the Birthday Present to get children’s blocks that spell out David. Lastly, exit the showroom using the vent.

Big Top Showroom

Give the ticket to Big Top and claim a Child’s Ball from the gift. Later, spin the wheel to open the Rainbow Doors and proceed ahead.

Doll Hospital

Pick up the Doctor’s Kit and fix the broken Duck and Elephant. Later, Nurse Dollie will leave, and players can pick up the Birthday Cake. Now, exit the area through the elevator.

Chica’s Party Room

Give the Birthday Cake to Chica and open the Birthday Present to get a White Tiger Doll. Next, climb up the stairs.

David’s Room

Read the storybook to get a hint on how to solve this puzzle.

Walk into the closet when the puzzle is done.

David’s Closet

Complete the upgrade station’s bits mini-game to get the Glitched Permission.

Once you have the Glitched Permission, the Moon.exe mini-game will be completed inFNAF: Secret of the Mimic. Now, you’re able to get the secret ending by normally completing the game and heading into Edwin’s House. However, instead of collecting the tapes toget the code for Edwin’s room, you’ll need to open the doors with strange access panels andcollect six audio tapes.

Once all the tapes are inserted into the tape recorders on the second floor,a secret vent will open upthat will lead players into David’s room, and towards the game’s secret ending.
