Capturing animals is a great way to get likes from the Animal Sanctuary, and a nice way to know that Sam is preserving wildlife by keeping them safe in a habitat forDeath Stranding 2. With so many animals in Australia, it’s no surprise that Sam can find some rarities, like the albino variants that can be rescued for a neat trophy and a cute display at the Animal Sanctuary.
Regardless of whether players are trying to get theDeath Stranding 2platinum trophy by first completing the Rare Specimen Rescuer trophy, or they simply want to see a rare and cute animal for themselves, the location of albino animals inDeath Stranding 2can be found below so that players can do both.

How to Get the Rare Specimen Rescuer Trophy
Animals will begin to spawn within Australiaonce players complete Order No. 15. With animals now becoming frequent across Australia, they will have to wait a little longer to get albino animals to spawn, as they have set conditions that are unlocked later in the game once players have connected the Pioneer to the Chiral Network. Players canfind the Pioneer after Order No. 28, and players will need to find some of his lost cargo around The Motherhood and deliver it for him to want tojoin the Chiral Network. Once connected, players can check the Aid Requests, where thePioneer will occasionally add the location of a wild albino animal.
While players have a selection between the kangaroo, lyrebird, and echidna, thealbino kangaroo is by far the easiest to find and spawns before connecting to the Pioneer.Players canfind the albino kangaroo in the desert just north of Heartman’s Lab and the Data Scientist, and they should be able to spot the albino kangaroo roaming. It’s hard to miss, as it has a stunning white coat on a large animal amidst a dry and red desert. Once players have located the animal, knock it out with rubber bullets or simply chase it down and then package it up, anddeliver it back to the Animal Shelter. Since the Animal Shelter is pretty far away, try and build roads and bring a vehicle so that the journey is a tad easier. Upon delivering the albino animal, the Rare Specimen Rescuer trophy will pop.
