Where to Find Neptilius in Palworld

Neptilius is a Legendary Pal (No.155) of the Water element type, permanently added to the game as part of the major Tides of Terraria (v0.6.0) update. However, while certain other Legendary Pals can be found wandering in the open world, Neptilius is a bit more hidden.

To find them, you need to journey to theIsle of the Glacial Core, which is far to the north at coordinates (141, 639). The isle is sandwiched between the major ice and desert islands, so your best way to get to it is from either of these islands. No Fast Travel Points are particularly convenient, but your best options would be either theUnthawable Lake(-102, 286) orDuneshelter(355, 343) on either island. From there, pick your best flying and/or swimming Pals to make the trek north to the isle.

Once you reach it, you’ll find the isle inhabited by groups of Polapups and a couple of Whalaskas. Don’t miss out on thefishing spotshere too. Head toward the center where the statue is, and you’ll find the entrance to the Sealed Realm of the Glacial Core. This will teleport you directly to an encounter with Neptilius as aLevel 60 boss. They’re aWater-type Pal, so come prepared with some Electric-types and upgraded weapons. Upon defeating Neptilius, the dungeon will have an hour-long cooldown before you can restart the encounter.

Alternatively,Neptilius can also be hatched out of Huge Damp Eggs. As with all other elemental eggs in the game, the spawn chance for these is entirely random across the world map. However, the chance seems to be better intemperate, grassy biomes.

How to Capture Neptilius

Neptilius can be captured, and this encounter is your best opportunity to get one as soon as possible.Since they’re a Level 60 legendary Pal, the best way to ensure you capture them is withUltimate Spheres.you’re able to attempt it with Legendary Spheres, but your odds are far slimmer, and it will likely end up being a waste of resources. So make sure to prepare some Ultimate Spheres before you begin the encounter.

How to Use Neptilius in Palworld

If you’re looking to employ Neptilius at one of your bases, be aware that they’re very much a niche-type worker with onlyLevel 4 Watering. This can still make them very viable for any hydro-powered constructs (such as crushers) and watering your food gardens.

Meanwhile, they can prove to be quite reliable in battle as a Water-type Pal. Their Partner Skill is’Sentinel of the Great Sea', which features a few different perks and abilities. While fighting alongside you, they’ll follow up your attacks with spear strikes.

Additionally, they can travel exceptionally fast across water, making them one of the best default swimming Pals. They can also leap into the air to cover even more distance more quickly. You will need the appropriate saddle in order to mount Neptilius, which is unlocked at Level 63 in the Technology Menu. To craft the saddle, you’ll need the following materials:

Finally, if you’re looking to make the perfect specimen,Neptilius can also be bredif you have aBreeding Farmat one of your bases. As of now, the only way to obtain a Neptilius through breeding is with two parent Neptilius Pals.
