Excluding the five default options, there are 62 unlockable outfits for DK inDonkey Kong Bananza. These will need to be purchased from style shops using fossils, which can be found scattered around on pretty muchevery layer in the game. Players will be able to unlock new fur colors for DK at any style shop, but neckwear and britches can only be acquired from style shops on the eight main layers (Lagoon, Canyon, Freezer, Forest, Tempest, Radiance, Feast, and Planet Core).
Neckwear will cost players one of the layer’s common fossils and can be upgraded up to two times, with the Level 2 upgrade costing three common fossils and the Level 3 upgrade requiring one rare fossil. Upgradable britches will cost five common fossils, with the two upgrades requiring ten common and three rare fossils respectively. There are also eight non-upgradable pairs of britches available inDonkey Kong Bananza, which will set players back one common fossil per pair.
