With a lot of the difficulties inGrounded 2, players will have to juggle their hunger along with their thirst. While it can be easy tofind water to drinkby looking for dew, finding food takes another step to safely eat. A few bugs can be killed and harvested to get raw meat to eat, but raw meat can be dangerous to eat.

Eating raw food has the chance of poisoning you, giving you a damage over time effect for a short amount of time. All food can be cooked to make it safe to eat and restore more hunger, so you should always cook food before eating it; here’s how to do it.

To use the Roasting Spit, interact with it to light it, which can be done as often and whenever you want without costing any resources. Once lit, you can interact with the Roasting Spit to place three raw foods onto the spit to let them cook.
