This scavenger hunt is a virtual celebration of American culture, encouraging players to explore different lifestyles, careers, and experiences within the game. Until July 18, 2025, you have the chance to complete ten patriotic objectives.

Achieving all ten objectives will take a lot of serious commitment and effort. How to Complete the Independence Scavenger Hunt in BitLife
The Independence Scavenger Hunt features a total of 10 themed badges, each earned by completing a specific objective. As expected, most of these objectives require your character to be a U.S. citizen, so make sure tostart a new life in the United Statesto make it easy.
A lot of the objectives in the Independence Scavenger Hunt cost money. As such, it’s a smart idea to start saving early by takingpart-time jobsor cutting unnecessary expenses, so you have enough funds to complete each task smoothly.
While some hints are provided, you’re able to watch ads to reveal even more clues. Here’s a breakdown of every badge and the task needed to get it:
Bike Badge
Ride a bike
To complete this, head to the Shopping section, then select the Bicycle shop under Assets. Bikes were introduced in the Outdoor Lifestyle update and are available to all players, whether or not they own the pack.
You can choose any bike (new or used) as prices typically range from a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars. Once purchased, go to the Assets tab, select your bike, and tap on “Ride” to complete this simple task. If you’re tight oncash inBitLife, opt for the cheapest bike available; it still counts for the Bike badge.
Burger Badge
Become a fast food worker
To get this badge, you’ll need to work in the fast food industry. After your character turns 18, go to the Occupation menu and check the full-time job listings for roles like Crew Member (Fast Food) or Shift Manager (Fast Food). These jobs appear randomly and may not show up right away.
If that happens, try aging up or restarting the app to refresh the listings. Be patient, as it may take a few tries. Once you land a position in fast food, the Burger Badge will be yours.
Derby Badge
Go to the horse races
To get the Derby Badge, you’ll need to visit the horse races. Once yourcharacter turns 18, go to the main Activities tab and select Horse Races. You’ll be asked to pay a small entry fee, and from there, you can either place a bet or simply watch the race.
Both options will count toward completing the objective. If you choose to bet, you don’t need to win; just participating is enough to unlock the Derby Badge. Betting also adds a bit of excitement if you’re feeling lucky.
Dream Badge
Emigrate to America
For this badge, you’ll need to emigrate to the United States. Start by creating a character born in any country other than the USA. After turning 18, go to the Activities tab and select the Emigrate option. Choose the United States as your destination.
To increase your chances of approval, make sure your character has a cleancriminal record. If the U.S. doesn’t appear right away in the options, simply close and reopen the menu until it does. Once you successfully move, you’ll get the Dream Badge.
Football Badge
Play American football in high school
To get this badge, your character must join their school’s football team. This opportunity usually pops up during high school, so head to the School menu and check the Extracurricular Activities section for the Football Team.
To increase your chances of being accepted,keep your character athleticby staying healthy and active. Joining the team in middle school first can also help. If the option doesn’t show up, you may use the Time Machine to go back and try again or create a new character. You’ll have better odds if your character lives in the U.S.
Model T Badge
Buy a Ford vehicle
This one is pretty straightforward. You’ll need to purchase a car made by Ford, an American manufacturer. After your character turns 16, make sure topass the driving test, then head to the Assets tab, go to Shopping, and visit a car dealership.
Look through the available listings for any Ford model, such as a Ford Focus or Ford Expedition. you’re able to choose a cheap, used car in poor condition or go for a brand-new one; either will count. If no Ford vehicles appear, try aging up or restarting the app to refresh the dealership inventory. Taking part-time jobs is a good idea to verify your character has enough funds to buy a car.
Soldier Badge
Join the military
To get the Soldier Badge, your character must be a U.S. citizen and enlist in any branch of the military. Once your character turns 18, head to the Occupation tab and check the Military section for options like the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard.
While you’re able to choose any branch, the Marines are often the easiest to get into. Once you’re accepted into any military branch, the Soldier Badge will be yours.
Star Badge
Pray to the devs
For this badge, simply use the “Pray” option found under the main Activities tab. This feature appears randomly during gameplay and lets you pray to the developers in exchange for a reward. You’ll usually have to watch a short ad.
If the Pray button doesn’t show up right away, keep playing and completing other tasks until it appears. Once you tap it and claim your prize, you’ll receive the Star Badge.
Sun Badge
Get a spray tan
This is one of the easiest badges to earn. To get it, open the Activities tab and select Salon & Spa, then select the Tanning Salon option. Get a spray tan for your character, and the Sun Badge will be instantly unlocked.
There’s no need to spend a fortune either, as a basic tan will do the trick. This task is quick, simple, and affordable at any stage of life.
Tea Bag Badge
Travel to Boston
To get the final badge, you’ll need to take a vacation to Boston, Massachusetts. Head to the Activities tab and select the Vacation option, then choose “Plan a Vacation.” Scroll through the destination list until you find Boston.
If it doesn’t appear right away, try aging up or restarting the app to refresh the list. You can choose any flight classdepending on your budget. Once you successfully take the trip to Boston, you’ll complete the final task and unlock the scavenger hunt’s mystery cosmetic reward.
