Death Stranding 2: On the Beachcontinues in the same vein as its predecessor. Sam Porter Bridges is tasked with adding new territories to the Chiral Network, and in doing so, can request the help of other porters around the world. Those porters are other players, and at times, they’ll need your help. Players can choose to create Aid Requests asking for weapons, items, materials, or even support defeating enemies in the game. But how does the system work? Here’s everything players need to know todonate items and weapons for Aid Requests inDeath Stranding 2.

Aid Requests can be found throughout the world and will appear in the game as circles on the ground with a label attached, floating in the air. These labels will inform you of the player’s identity and the request they’re making. These will appear in the same place in other players' worlds as in the requesters.

How to Send Items and Weapons for Aid Requests in Death Stranding 2

Be a Good Samaritan

To complete an Aid Request, players must drop the requested type of items (or weapons) into the circle that the Aid Request makes on the floor. Once this is done, a button prompt should appear on the screen for players to press Square to ‘Send Cargo.’

If the option to ‘Send Cargo’ doesn’t appear, make sure that the items are within the circle outline on the ground. If you’re trying to send a weapon with no ammo, used items, or the incorrect type of item for the request, you won’t be able to send it.

After pressing ‘Send Cargo,’ the ground surrounding Sam will turn to tar, and a ghost-like version of Sam will come through the ground, grab the requested item, give players a thumbs up, and disappear back into the ground. Completing Aid Requests from other players will reward you with100 Likes, which will then contribute towards improving your Bridge Link score, which is tied to your Porter Grade.

It’s worth noting that any items players use to complete an Aid Request will no longer be in their inventory. As such, it’s recommended that players avoid donating any of their best items or weapons if they don’t have the materials to fabricate new versions.
