The journey through the facility inFive Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimicis relatively shorter, but it’s jam-packed with several hidden areas that hold secret encounters and items. One of these secret areas is located within the basement of the facility, accessible through the lift in the Retail Showroom area.
This area won’t be accessible early on, though, as you’ll need Executive permission from the Data Diver to enter it. Do venture here prepared, as you’ll need to solve a puzzle down there, while a secret Moon animatronic prowls the dark halls.
Before players can enter the Retail Showroom area inFNAF: Secret of the Mimic, they must have Executive Data Diver access. Once you’ve gotten access and completed the boss fight against the White Tiger,you must not enter the main office in Storage to talk to the Dispatcher. If you enter the office, it will lock you into the ending of the game, and you won’t be able to explore the facility anymore.
Instead, exit the storage area and cut through the welcome showroom to reach the main hallway. The door to theRetail Showroom is located to the left of the keypadyou used toget the elevator repair training cassette. Once you enter, quickly unlock the main offer to your left and access the Helper Terminal.
Read the emails titled Retail, followed by the days of the week. These emails will indicate the location of the monitors displaying code digits, and you’ll need toenter them into the Retail Showroom keypadin the correct order.

Once you’veentered the code 80625 into the Retail Showroom keypad, an elevator will open up, and it’ll take you into the basement section.
How to Solve the Retail Showroom Basement Puzzle & Beat the Moon Boss
Once you reach the basement, grab the Star Orphan light and head inside one of the connecting hallways. These hallways are a maze-like structure, and you’ll be constantlypursued by the Moon animatronic bossinFNAF: Secret of the Mimic. So, it’s best to avoid hitting any chains and use lockers when needed to hide from it.
Your main goal is to follow one of the four red wires on the ground to a station where you can dock the Star Orphan to restore power in that area. Once the power is restored, follow the other end of the red wire to arrive at anunlocked cage with a piece of circuit tile inside.
Once you have the piece of the circuit, return to the main area with the huge moon structure and place the piece into the larger circuit behind it. You’ll need tofind four circuit tilesin total by following the method above. Make sure to grab the Star Orphan back once you’re done with an area.
Use the Jackhammers to distract the moon animatronic once you’re headed to a new section. Finding the circuit piece will be much easier once it’s off your tail.
Once you’ve placed all four circuit tiles into the larger circuit, connect the tiles to form a pathway for the molten liquid to flow from right to left. This will complete the circuit and allow you to enter the large moon structure in the middle of the room toget David’s Ball gift box memorabiliainside. It’s essential to collect all the giftbox memorabilia to complete the Moon.exe mini-game and get the secret ending forFNAF: Secret of the Mimic.
