Fans now know thatGrand Theft Auto 6will release on June 23, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but there’s currently no word on when a new trailer will be released. The game’s first trailer was revealed all the way back in December 2023, but Rockstar Games left fans in anticipation right up until May 2025, when it finally released the game’s second trailer. Not only did the new footage show just how far the title had come since its first trailer, but Rockstar dropped over 70 new screenshots and also unveiled an updated website with tons of new information surroundingGrand Theft Auto 6.
As it could very well be another six or so months before fans get anydetails onGrand Theft Auto 6, the community has been attempting to make their own discoveries with any footage and screenshots already available online. The most recent discovery comes from Reddit user Aidan Dawson, who has pieced together a potential bank heist mission using some of the game’s screenshots and two trailers. As seen in the storyboard below, the first section, which was taken from Trailer 2, shows Jason and Lucia robbing a bank. A short GIF posted on Rockstar’s website then shows Raul Bautista in a shootout with Lucia, wearing the same attire as she was in the bank heist, behind him. It then appears as though the three attempt to make an escape in a “getaway gone wrong,” as Lucia blows up police vehicles in an epic sequence from Trailer 2.

It seems highly likely that these three segments, scattered mostly betweenGrand Theft Auto 6’s second trailer, are actually connected. If Rockstar Games' upcoming release is anything like its predecessor,Grand Theft Auto 5, there will likely be tons of different robberies and police chases, but these three sections all show Lucia wearing the exact same body armor, suggesting that they take place chronologically.
It’s no surprise that fans are still discovering incredible details such as these, asGrand Theft Auto 6Trailer 2 recently achieved an impressive milestone, overtaking the firstGrand Theft Auto 5trailer in YouTube views and becoming the second-largest video on Rockstar’s channel. According to the developer, Trailer 2 is the biggest and fastest-growing video launch in the history of the internet, accruing over 475 million views across all social media platforms in just 24 hours, demonstrating the sheer hype and anticipation that continues to build for the game.
