Destiny 2 The Edge of Fateexpansion has brought a new array of powerful weapons, and among them, Giver’s Blessing is among the top-tiered Kinetic slot Rapid-Frame auto-rifles. Very similar in terms of damage output, RPM, and handling to the legendary Steelfeather Repeater, this weapon takes the place of its predecessor as a preferred choice for those who love ARs in Destiny 2.
Prepared to take down tons of enemies, Giver’s Blessing is a powerful ad clearing tool, and those fighting against the House of Exiles will soon learn that this weapon has a particular set of Perks considered a God Roll. In this guide, players will find all the information they need to identify the primer perks, both for PvE, and PvP, alongside their alternatives.
Adrenaline Junkie or Kinetic Tremors
Masterwork
Range
Players can acquire Giver’s Blessing from Kepler’s activities and as a reward for completing the Main Quest. It is a Rapid-Frame Auto Rifle with several interesting Perks for both PvP and PvE. With its 84 points of Aim Assistance, Giver’s Blessing isone of the best automatic weaponsto land consecutive precision shots. Too bad it doesn’t have Fourth Time Is the Charm as one of its perks, but it hasFeeding FrenzyandAdrenaline Junkie, and that combo makes it one of the strongest weapons for add clearing. Some might even replace Adrenaline Junkie forKinetic Tremors, since this perk releases a Shockwave of Kinetic energy, and thanks to the newTechsec Armor Set,which empowers Kinetic damage and provokes a similar effect with its 4th Perk active, Kinetic Tremors has become a hundred times better.
Add inArrowhead Brakefor Recoil control and Handling, and complete with Appended Mag to take advantage of the Adrenaline Junkie Perk and maximize the amount of fires shot per recharge. For Masterwork, choose Range, as this weapon has intermediate range, but requires that little bit extra to reduce damage falloff. Finally, its intrinsic Trait,Exhaustive Research, will turn this weapon into a low-budget Quicksilver by firing a homing rocket after holding down sights for a while. Damage scales with Adrenaline Junkie, and that synergy is great for clearing Elites and Heavies.
Moving Target or Rewind Rounds
In terms of PvP utility, Giver’s Blessing is a little bit inferior to other Rapid-Fire Auto Rifles, but it is still a good option for players who like to go all out in group battles. Pick Hammer Forged Rifling for optimal range, Armor-Piercing Ronds to deal with Overshield meta, and Moving Target for better control. For those who prefer a more static approach, Rewind Rounds is a good alternative, as it is more effective in prolonged fights than in fast skirmishes across the arenas. Finally, Once For All gives the weapon an extra bump of damage that will ensure players succeed at taking down entire parties. Giver’s Blessing might not become top of the meta in PvP, but it sure is a goodalternative to the BrayTech Werewolf, though the latter is better suited for precision combat.
