Developer The Coalition has announced that a secondGears of War: Reloadedmultiplayer beta test will be held from June 20 until June 22 on all platforms. The first beta test’s myriad technical issues put a serious damper on fans' excitement, but the game’s creators are hoping to make things right with a revampedGears of War: Reloadedbeta this weekend.

In a new Twitter post, The Coalition announced that a secondGears of War: Reloadedmultiplayer beta test would be held from June 20 until June 22. This time around, players on all platforms will be able to jump into five different maps, including Gridlock and Gold Rush, for Social Team Deathmatch as well as Competitive King of the Hill and Execution. This extended test comes afterGears of War: Reloaded’s disastrous first beta, which suffered from rampant technical issues and server instability. Given that the title is only two months away from launch, many players expressed concern about the game’s current state and voiced their hope that the developers would take all feedback to heart.

Gears of War: Reloaded Second Beta Dates

Given thatGears of Warhas been an Xbox-exclusive series for two decades, PlayStation fans are remarkably eager to give the upcoming game a try. This week, it was reported thatGears of War: Reloadedwas at the top of PS5 pre-order chartsin both the US and UK, beating out major upcoming games likeDeath Stranding 2: On the Beach,Ready or Not, andTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.

For longtime fans,expectations are high forGears of War: Reloaded. Along with its campaign, which can be tackled solo or in two-player split-screen or online co-op, the game will also feature the original’s iconic multiplayer mode, along with all post-launch DLC. Players can expect to experience the adventure in 4K, and cross-play will be supported across all platforms at launch.
