Now, one gamer called mojoswoptops2020 remadeGame of Thrones’ Winterfell inFar Cry 5. Known as the home of the Stark family in the popular TV show, Winterfell has a big castle with tall stone walls, and the whole area was recreated by the player and shared on Reddit with a stunning picture. According to mojoswoptops2020, the map was created using the map editor on the Xbox Series X, and the whole project took around three hours to complete. One curious detail shared by the player is that what looks like birds in the sky above Winterfell are just randomly rotated stick shapes, which amused some gamers.

Winterfell Recreated Using Far Cry 5’s Map Editor

This is far from the first time that mojoswoptops2020 shares a homage to another franchise usingFar Cry 5’s map editor, though. Last year, for example, the prolificfan rebuiltFallout 3’s Megaton inFar Cry 5. The result was fairly detailed and quite amazing, as the creation had an uncanny similarity to the version of Megaton created in Bethesda’s game.

Another interesting creation made by the same fan wasFallout: New Vegas’ city of Nipton remade inFar Cry 5. This place had incredible vibes and greatly reminded players of the desert city destroyed by Caesar’s Legion in the game, looking like a place from a completely different title instead of theFar Cryseries.

Back in 2023, mojoswoptops2020 evenrecreated the famous Eiffel Tower inFar Cry 5, sharing a photo of the beautiful Parisian landmark and impressing some gamers with how realistic the project looked. Hopefully, either this prolific creator or some other fan will continue to useFar Cry 5to imagine interesting places and share them with the community.
