TheFortnitecommunity had plenty to say on the matter, and someCall of Dutyplayers wanted to see Activision take this sort of no-nonsense approach more often. Some went a step further to say “kids in regular lobbies” are hurting the shooter and consistently ruin genuine players’ gameplay. Some fans take the matter of cheating into their own hands, like oneFortniteplayer who performed a simple trick to remove cheaters, but a majority of the player base was thrilled to see Epic taking such a steadfast stand against cheaters.

This isn’t the first time the developer has publicly tackled cheaters, asEpic previously forced aFortnitetournament cheater to post an apology videoand then donated their winnings to charity.
