Epic Games employees are now back from summer break, so gamers can once again expect consistentFortniteupdates every two weeks. Although players were already aware that patch 36.20 would be available on July 15, the exact time for the start of downtime had not been revealed.Epic Games has now confirmed that downtime forFortnitepatch v36.20 will begin at 4 AM ET on July 15.
Matchmaking is disabled about 30 minutes before the start of downtime, sogamers should be able to enter their last match at about 3.30 AM ET- this is to avoid any games being left unfinished once the servers go down.

Since this isn’t an end-of-season patch, gamers shouldn’t expect many delays. However, since the game hasn’t been updated in nearly a month, it is possible that they may be down for longer than usual.
