According to previews posted on the Square Enix Store, Vivi got his name from his adopted grandfather, Quan, as the Roman numerals VI VI indicated that Vivi stood at 6'6" while standing on his tiptoes and with his Black Mage’s hat fully straightened out. Pre-orders for theFinal Fantasy 9 Picture Bookare priced at $18, with a tentative release date of July 23, 2025.
