Fields of Mistria Introducing New Romance and Friendship Events

One of the highlights of the newFields of Mistriaupdateis a new NPC Heart cap, which is being raised from six to eight hearts. Fields of Mistria’s Dating System Remains a Mystery

The Chicago-based developer previously confirmed that marriage will be added to its hit life sim, and the introduction of dating appears to bring the game one step closer to that goal. However, the company has shared few details about the upcoming mechanic, leaving fans to speculate about what it might involve. Based on the currently availableFields of Mistriacontent, dating may either be implemented as a repeatable activity or take the form of a finite quest line.

The July 21 update is also set to introduce new Mines monsters, as well as additional cosmetic drops that players can earn from defeating them. Monster variant mechanics are also being refined as part of the upcoming release, NPC Studio said, without elaborating on the matter. Beyond that, the new patch will raise skills caps from level 45 to 60, add Tier 4 and 5 skill perks, and expand customization options with more player cosmetics, furniture, and decor. The new content drop will mark thefirst majorFields of Mistriaupdate since the March 2025 patch, which bumped the game’s version number up to 0.13.0.
