Now, Remedy Entertainment has released the new 1.3.1/1.003.001 update forFBC: Firebreak. The update improves connection stability and fixes some issues related to the automatic reconnect feature, which were introduced in the previous patch but didn’t seem to be working very well all the time. The small patch also fixes a bug where a countdown appeared incorrectly on the screen, and provides additional backend support to diminish the downtime in future updates. When compared to the previous Patch 1.3, which updated the Perk economy and made progression smoother, the new one is fairly minor, but it’s still important to improve overall stability and polish inFBC: Firebreak.

Last week,FBC: Firebreaksurpassed over a million players.FBC: Firebreakcan be played as part of the Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus Extra subscriptions, but gamers who do not use the services have to pay $40 to purchase the game. In any case, these are impressive numbers for Remedy’s newest title and show that there’s a fair share of gamers trying it.

FBC: Firebreak Is Struggling on PC

Despite the apparent success on consoles,FBC: Firebreakseems to be struggling on PC. Recent reports have indicated thatFBC: Firebreak’s peak concurrent player count on Steam went below 2,000 people, a fairly worrisome number for a multiplayer-focused game. Fortunately, the game has crossplay, so gamers can play on their platform of choice without worrying about having to wait too long before matches.

Hopefully, Remedy will continue improvingFBC: Firebreakin the near future and attract a larger audience for the shooter. Last month, two new major updates were teased forFBC: Firebreak. Codenamed “Outbreak” and “Blackout,” these new updates would bring new gameplay systems, enemies, equipment, and areas, likely giving more variety to the live service game, which could attract a larger audience.
