Since June 26,Epic’s digital storefront was giving away the cozy open-world adventureSable. The giveaway concluded on July 3, having been replaced by two freebies:FigmentandBackpack Hero.
As is typically the case, the arrival of the new giveaway coincided with Epic revealing its next week’s freebies:Sky RacketandFigment 2: Creed Valley. Both will be available to claim for exactly one week, starting July 10, at 9am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. The total value of theseEpic Games Store freebiesis $44.98:Sky Racketnormally retails for $19.99, whereas theFigmentsequel has a $24.99 price tag. Neither of these titles were ever free on the Epic Games Store in the past.
Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now
The firstFigment, which is currentlyavailable to claim on the Epic Games Store, takes approximately five hours to complete. PC gamers can hence beat it at a leisurely pace while waiting to claim its sequel next week. Like its predecessor,Figment 2is an action-adventure game that blends exploration, combat, and puzzles. Set in the human mind, it explores themes of mental health and features an interactive soundtrack that dynamically responds to the player’s actions, creating a rhythm-driven experience.
While not as critically acclaimed as the originalFigment,Cred Valleywas still met with generally favorable reviews, as reflected in its “Fair” rating on OpenCritic, based on a Top Critic Average score of 72, with every other reviewer recommending it on average. Its user impressions are in line with this reception, with the game currently holding “Very Positive” player reviews on Steam.
The other July 10 freebie isSky Racket, a Double Dash Studios title that draws from twoclassic arcade-era genres: brick breakers and shoot-em-ups. As its name implies, the game’s protagonist can fly and is armed with a tennis racket, which players need to use to deflect enemy projectiles. Set across a variety of vibrant side-scrolling stages spanning five worlds, the game features fast-paced action, whimsical visuals, and an overall lighthearted tone.Sky Racketholds a “Fair” rating on OpenCritic, with an average score of 71, but also a remarkable 91% reviewer recommendation rate. First released in 2019, Double Dash’s retro title also has “Very Positive” player reviews on Steam as of mid-2025.
